イタリア・ヴェネツィアにて 日伊文化交流イベントを開催

2019年8月29日、ヴェネツィアの歴史あるパラッツォ・コンタリーニ・ポリニャック（Palazzo Contarini Polignac）にて、日伊文化交流イベントが開催されました。

本イベントでは、・茶人による京菓子の実演と呈茶・舞人による白拍子の舞の披露が行われ、日本の伝統文化の精髄を紹介。

私は、現地で藍染めした麻布を用い、空間インスタレーションと衣装演出を担当しました。藍の深い色と自然素材の質感が、舞台空間に日本的な美と静けさをもたらし、茶の湯と舞の世界観を引き立てました。

Japan–Italy Cultural Exchange in Venice, Italy

On August 29, 2019, a cultural exchange event between Japan and Italy was held at the historic Palazzo Contarini Polignac in Venice.

The program featured:

• A live demonstration of traditional Kyogashi (Kyoto confections) and tea ceremony by a tea master

• A performance of shirabyoshi—a classical Japanese dance—by a traditional dancer

I was in charge of the spatial installation and costume direction, using hand-dyed linen fabrics in indigo, created locally in Venice.The deep hues of natural indigo and the texture of the linen brought a quiet elegance to the space, enhancing the poetic atmosphere of both the tea ceremony and the dance performance.
